What we do:
Catholic Charities provides confidential counseling services to individuals, couples, families and groups experiencing a broad range of personal, relationship and family problems such as coping with the stresses of daily living, grief and loss, anxiety, marital conflict and children’s behavioral problems. Fees are based on household size and family income.
Our trained staff consists of counselors who are licensed (Clinical Social Workers, Mental Health Counselors and Marriage and Family Therapists) or license eligible Registered Interns.
A Faith-Based Counseling referral Directory refers callers to confidential counseling services that integrate psychotherapeutic practices with a Faith Based Perspective to meet the mental health and spiritual needs of individuals and families. Licensed Clinicians provide services at select locations throughout the diocese. Call (800) 242-9012 for further information.
A specialized counseling program, REACH (Resources to Educate, Assess, Counsel and Help Families), seeks to prevent teen pregnancy, child abuse and other social problems, and to preserve and strengthen family relationships through counseling, case management and life skills education. In addition to our offices, services are provided at many social service agencies, schools and churches. Services are provided free of charge.
Who we serve:
Services are provided to individuals and families from all races, religious backgrounds, and cultures. REACH serves children 0-17 with an emphasis on 0-8 and low/mid income families that reside in East and South Hillsborough County.
