The weather is warming, the sun is shining, the flowers are growing and the women at Foundations of Life Pregnancy Center (FOL) are bringing the spring spirit! Daughters, mothers and grandmothers join FOL every year by attending the 7th Annual Spring Tea and Fashion Show on May 14, 2022.
On May 14, 2022 supporters of FOL joined together to experience a warm welcome with good-ole English-styled tea and hors d’oeuvres at the Highlands at Scotland Yard Clubhouse in Dade City, FL. Ladies express their increased enjoyment of tea and fashion, while supporting local mothers and babies in need. Isabelle Thayer, local college student, shares her enthusiasm by saying, “It’s like stepping back into simpler and happier times with my loved ones.”
Delicious fine foods and desserts were not the only things enjoyed! Fashions for the Spring Tea and Fashion Show were graciously provided by St. Joseph Catholic Church Thrifty Angel Boutique in Zephyrhills, FL. Neutral colors with a splash of color are definitely in style! The ladies of Thrifty Angel Boutique strolled gracefully down the center isle showing off their fresh style. Jessica Collazo, Thrifty Angel Boutique Manager, said, “Ladies, sometimes we need an excuse to dress up and look beautiful and elegant, am I right?”
The fun continued with a beautiful display of items in the silent auction provided by local sponsor Bonita Florist and other supporters. From items such as wine and glasses, baby baptismal baskets, spa baskets to a Choose Life basket. Twenty-three generous winners walked away with their prizes!
