St. Joseph the Worker Feast Day Celebration

Event on: 2016-May 1st 12:30 PM - 3:00 PM

Catholic Charities will be among several social service agencies and providers (e.g., St. Anthony’s Hospital) represented on Sunday May 1st at the St. Joseph the Worker Feast Day celebration for the Latino community of W. Tampa being organized by Fr Carlos José Rojas at St. Joseph Catholic Church (3012 W Cherry St, Tampa, FL 33607). Fr. Carlos expects more than 300 – 400 to attend and hopes this event becomes an annual day to serve his parish and the community. Personnel from the following Catholic Charities groups will attend: Catholic Charities Free Medical Clinic at San Jose Mission and Mobile Medical Bus, Citizenship services, Immigration services, and Pathways to Self-Sufficiency (assistance) program, Foundations of Life Pregnancy Center. The celebration will begin after the conclusion of the 11:30 a.m. (spanish) Mass and runs until 3:00 p.m.
