The 2nd Annual Breakfast of Mercy, held November 29th at Feather Sound Country Club in Clearwater, was a resounding success. Nearly 130 guests helped us close out the Jubilee Year of Mercy as we recognized our amazing volunteers and benefactors through our Angel Awards, heard the witness of two of our Pinellas Hope residents, and shared updates regarding Catholic Charities ministries with a focus on Hope Cottages. The event raised over $40,000 which will be used to assist the residents and clients of Catholic Charities.

Former St. Petersburg Mayor, Rick Baker (currently President of the Edwards Group), a long-time benefactor, shared his thoughts about Catholic Charities and Pinellas Hope, which he helped found in 2007 while Mayor of St. Petersburg, in his keynote address. He exhorted the group to help move residents from tents to Hope Cottages citing it as a natural progression in the evolution of the nationally renowned homeless shelter.

Thank you to our AMAZING sponsors who made the event possible!
