The Palms at University
12708 North 19th Street
Tampa, FL 33612
Rehabilitation Project
Notice is hereby that Catholic Charities Housing will receive sealed bids for this project located at 12708 North 19th Street, Tampa FL 33612. Work generally consists of the following:

1. Install an entry gate
2. Install subsurface drainage systems throughout the property
3. Remove and replace four (4) HVAC units
4. Pressure wash and paint the exterior of ten (10) buildings
5. Create a secure staging area for refuse dumpsters
6. Replace ten (10) stairways throughout the property, clean and repair gutters and downspouts
7. Install four (4) park benches outside of the laundry room
8. Re-stripe the parking lot and repair sidewalks

Catholic Charities Housing may include this work in the project depending on the results of the bid. The time allotted for this project is 60 days. To review the complete Invitation to Bid on construction plans and specifications, we will be holding an open house at The Palms at University 12708 North 19th Street, Tampa FL 33612 on August 6, 2019 at 10:00AM. Proposals will be accepted by Catholic Charities Housing at the Riviera Manor office located at 6603 North Riviera Manor Drive, Tampa FL 33604 until 1:00 PM, Local Time, August 9, 2019, at which time all bids will be reviewed in the Management Office. All work performed shall be in accordance with the contract Documents pertaining thereto, which may be examined at the office of Catholic Charities-6603 North Riviera Manor Drive, Tampa FL 33604. Direct all questions to Suzanne Kennan 727-430-1461, or at skennan@ccdosp.org. This project is funded by the Federal Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG). The federal funds supporting this project trigger Federal Labor Relation compliance requirements which include enforcing Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements for the site funds. Other federal requirements include the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, Copeland Anti-Kickback Act, procurement regulations noted at 2 CFR §§ 200.317-.326, MBE participation and Section 3 compliance. All related documentation to show compliance with these items is required when requested by the County. All up to date payrolls from the General Contractor and All Subcontractors for Davis-Bacon compliance will be submitted weekly to the Subrecipient. Catholic Charities Housing reserves the right to reject any and all bids received, to waive any irregularities or informalities, to re-advertise and award the Contract in its best interest.
