Respite Care_Rev ImageRespite Care Program:  is designed to meet the growing needs of the elderly population in Hernando and Citrus Counties.  Staff and trained volunteers provide four (4) hours of center-based respite to Alzheimer’s and other dementia affected individuals as well as their caregivers.

Who we serve: Individuals experiencing early stage Alzheimer ’s disease or other memory loss illnesses.

Our services:  The Respite Care Programs offer specially planned days for people with early stage Alzheimer’s Disease or other memory loss illnesses including stroke, Parkinson’s Disease or senile dementia. We provide caregivers the opportunity to have some much needed time for themselves while their loved ones participate in activities and enjoy new friendships. The program provides a nurturing and positive environment, and the opportunity to socialize with others who share in the same affliction. In order to defray costs a minimal per session fee is charged.

Location: Catholic Charities Respite Care offices (Spring Hill)

Days of Operation: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Contact Information: Please call the Catholic Charities Spring Hill offices at (352) 686-9897 and ask for a Respite Care program representative.
