On December 5th at 8:00 am, students, staff, and friends of the University of South Florida (USF) Health Morsani College of Medicine’s Obstetrics & Gynecology Interest Group are sponsoring a ‘fun’ fundraiser to support Catholic Charities’ San Jose Mission Clinic.
The fundraiser is called ‘Laps for Paps’ and consists of a 5K run to be held at the USF Campus Recreation 5K course. Funds are to be raised through the $20 per person ($50 per team of 4) entry fee; however, anyone is encouraged to either make or pledge a donation to the clinic! All funds will be used to support the San Jose Mission medical clinic located in Dover, Florida and run by Catholic Charities’ Sister Sara K. Proctor. Specifically, proceeds “will go towards sponsoring pap smears for the female patients who utilize the clinic.”
