Leprechauns for Life Dinner & Dance

April 13, 2016 by Lou Ricardo in Adoption Services, Foundations of Life, Fundraiser
Leprechauns for Life Dinner & Dance

As Leprechauns looked on, an intimate group of sixty supporters of the Dade City Foundations of Life Pregnancy Center enjoyed a catered meal courtesy of Sonny’s BBQ restaurant in Zephyrhills and the Knights of Columbus Fr. Robert Rittmeyer Council #10671. Afterwards, the group continued to raise funds for pregnant women in need through a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle and a Lotto tree.

Music was provided by local Dade City resident, George Dombrowski, long-time proprietor of A-Sharp DJ Service, and ran the gamut from slow dance songs by the Righteous Brothers to line dances like the Macarena and  the Electric Slide, and everything in between from Sinatra to David Bowie to the Dazz Band!

The Rowdy Corner – and they weren’t Irish!

Center Manager, Angie Herrera, thanked the volunteers, the Knights and Sonny’s BBQ: “We couldn’t have done it without the help of our many loyal volunteers and our wonderful partners, the Zephyrhills Knights of Columbus.”
