The Pasco County Board of County Commissioners and Pasco County Administrator teamed with Catholic Charities to be able to provide two locations of temporary housing for as many as 208 residents of Pasco County who had been displaced from their homes due to Hurricanes Helene and Milton. Both Sites, Pasco Hope (for Seniors or Individuals) and Pasco Hope Family were and continue to be operated by Catholic Charities in partnership with Pasco County.

Pasco Hope (Holiday)
The first site is located on Grand Blvd. in Holiday and opened on November 1st, 2024. There are fifty single-person units knowns as Hope CottagesTM and up to 25 two-person trailers. Pasco Hope Family (Port Richey)
The second site that was opened was located in Port Richey and opened on December 13, 2024. It was set up to accommodate up to 108 family members in fourteen trailers (6 individuals each) with the same additional amenities.

HOW – space will be made available on a first come, first served basis. However, to determine availability and be placed on a waiting list or immediately admitted to the shelter, interested individuals must first please contact the Coalition for the homeless of Pasco County by calling (727) 842-8605.
