What we do:
Volunteer medical professionals provide medical screening and follow-up medical care to low-mid income residents of east Pasco County and surrounding areas.
Requirements:
The program operates under the auspices of the State of Florida Department of Health Volunteer Health Care Provider Program targeting persons with household incomes less than 200% of poverty level and without health care coverage.
Location:
All services are provided at the Clinic located at Catholic Charities’ Dade City office (37733 Meridian Avenue)
Days and Hours of Service:
The second and fourth Saturday of every month between 8:30 am and 11:30 am.
The following services will be ‘By Appointment’ so please call ahead.
¨ Gynecology Clinic: one day every two mos.
¨ Vision/Diabetes Clinic: twice annually (Spring & Fall)
¨ Specialty Clinic (multiple specialists): being planned for one day every quarter.
Services:
Primary care: basic medical screenings, diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and injuries.
Acute medical care: secondary treatment for short-term illnesses
Lab Work
Chronic Disease Management (e.g., arthritis, diabetes and hypertension)
Gynecology Exams (e.g., ultrasound, breast exams, pap smears)
Vision Screening
Assist patients navigate health care system
