July 30, 2015 by Lou Ricardo in Affordable Housing, Elderly Housing (HUD 202)
San Lorenzo Terrace II Health & Community Information Fair

San Lorenzo Terrace II, a Catholic Charities Elderly Affordable Housing location, is presenting its 2nd Annual Health & Community Information Fair on August 15th! Last year’s event saw seven healthcare and other professionals provide various services (e.g., flu shots) and education to sixty people!

In Year two, thirteen healthcare professionals will attend to once again provide basic healthcare services as well as education/information across a wide array of community service areas (legal, voting, insurance, transportation and more) about which our residents should be aware. Coffee and treats will be offered along with raffle items and small gifts (magnets, pens, notepads, bags, etc.) provided by the participating healthcare professionals.

The list of participants is impressive:

Humana Healthcare
Best Seniors Meals
RBR Law Firm (providing information on immigration, bankruptcy and living wills)
Avian Home Health Corp.
Quality of Life
Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections
Aging Services Department – Wellness and Nutrition Program
United Health
Life Back Enterprises
Superior Pharmacy
Bush Pharmacy
Genesis Health Care
Hillsborough County HART Program
