Foundations of Life Pregnancy Center is on the Move: The New Tampa Location

On February 11, 2022, Foundations of Life Pregnancy Center – Tampa hosted an Open House and a Blessing Ceremony for new, spacious offices located in a more accessible, client-friendly location on N. Dale Mabry Hwy in Tampa. In front of staff, clients and guests, long-time supporter, Rev. John Lipscomb, performed the Blessing Ceremony.

The new location has brought more clients through its doors primarily due to its proximity to public transportation but also due to the neighborhood next door, from which two clients have come. Additionally, there is more space for everyone: a larger client waiting area, play area for babies, and a much larger pantry for baby supplies from where clothes, diapers, formula, baby food and much more are given to clients. According to Pregnancy Center Manager Liliana Gimenez, “Since our move to the North Dale Mabry location, we have seen an increase in walk-in pregnancy tests, as well as emergency assist clients.”

While the location has changed, what hasn’t changed is the mission of assisting women who are pregnant or believe they may be. The staff continue their work of providing free services to these women, including free on-site pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, options counseling, materials, training, and referral services. Pregnancy and Adoption Services Manager Laura Ramos said, “We help the mother from the time she finds out she is pregnant until the time that the child is one-year old. We try to make sure that she has everything she needs before the baby is born: a car seat, crib, playpen, toys, baby clothes, etc. Once the baby has been born, they continue to come for diapers, formula, clothes, etc. as the baby grows.”

If you, or someone you know, are pregnant, please know that walk-ins are welcomed. Come to the clinic at 6845 N. Dale Mabry Hwy. The hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. After hours are by appointment only: call (813) 631-4398. For more information, click here!

Foundations of Life Pregnancy Center provides free counseling, resources and education for women facing unplanned pregnancies with the goal of having them choose life. To support Foundations of Life, please text FOLBaby to 41444! For more information, click here!
